Psalm 122:1 "I was glad when they said to me, let us go to the House of the Lord"

THIS SUNDAY, SEPT. 16, PROVIDES "OPPORTUNITIES GALORE" FOR ST. MARK'S LUTHERAN CHURCH.

A, The Annual Car Show of Fairborn will go right in front of our church Sunday morning

B, Our worship service which will be 10:00am will be under a big tent on our front lawn

C, Our sound system will broadcast our service to everyone walking past our church

D, The LSIM Praise Band and our own music by Mary Ann will be heard by all who pass by

OUR PRAYER IS THAT THERE WILL BE PASSERS-BY WHO WILL BE "SPIRIT" MOVED TO JOIN WORSHIP AND / OR THEY WILL KNOW THAT THIS IS A CHURCH THAT WORSHIPS THE SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST

IF THEY ARE LOOKING FOR OR THINKING ABOUT A CHURCH THEY WILL KNOW WE ARE HERE AND THEY WOULD FIND A WARM WELCOME - JESUS SAYS TO US: "GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES"

E, We also will be serving food to the passers-by under another tent. (Our hope is that members of St. Mark's will be present for conversation to show that we are a very friendly church who love the Lord)

F, We will be conducting tours of St. Mark's to any and all who might be interested. (Members are needed)

YOU CAN SEE THAT THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO INTRODUCE ST. MARK'S TO THE COMMUNITY

YOUR PRAYERS ARE NEEDED AS WELL AS YOUR PRESENCE AT WORSHIP AND THE MEAL TENT. THE PEOPLE OF FAIRBORN NEED TO SEE A LIVE AND VIBRANT CHURCH AT ST. MARK'S

WE HAVE PEWS TO FILL, A SAVIOR TO SHARE, LOVE TO GIVE

We pray for a successful Sept 16 so there will more who will begin to say "I was glad when they said to me, let us go to the House of the Lord"
